OCC - Sketch Challenge

Welcome to Our Creative Corner challenge blog. Thanks to all who played in last week's challenge! All of your samples were gorgeous!!

Before we get started with this week's challenge, we'd like to give a shout-out to our very own Jennifer Meyer and congratulate her on the launch of her new stamp company, Stamps and Smiles. OCC Challenge - Use a Tag

Hello and welcome to Our Creative Corner! We want to thank everyone who played in last week’s sketch challenge!! You really do know how to spoil us with your amazing samples!!

Laurie has created another fabulous challenge… she has challenged us to add a tag somewhere on the front of your card. It can be the focal point or more of an embellishment, large or small… just as long as it’s a tag.

Remember there is no time limit on our challenges. Please feel free to participate in any of our challenges at any time. To play along, just post your project to your blog or gallery, then include a link in the Mr. Linky form at the bottom of this post so we can check it out. If you upload to SCS, use keyword: OCCC

OCC - Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone and welcome to Our Creative Corner! A HUGE thanks to everyone who played in last week's Inspiration Challenge!! This week, February's hostess Laurie Schmidlin has cooked up a sketch challenge for you!

A sketch is such a wonderful way to get the creativity flowing! While it's great to stay true to the sketch, please feel free to adjust the sketch to suit your particular card (i.e. flip it, change the circles to squares or some other shape, omit the ribbon, etc.). Just have fun with it! :-)

Want even more of a challenge? Why not send your finished card to someone who means a lot to you (who maybe you don't tell often enough). It could be anyone...a co-worker, a neighbor, an extended family member, a close family member for that matter :-), a friend, or how about someone you know who's serving in the Armed Forces? When you are ready to play, just link your creation below using Mr. Linky. If you upload to SCS, please include the keyword OCCC. Oh, and don't forget to tell us who the special "someone" is that you are sending your card to, and why they mean so much to you (you can do that in the comments section below)!

OCC - Inspiration Challenge

Hello and Welcome to Our Creative Corner!! First a big thank you to all who played in last week’s Crazy for Hearts challenge – we love when you play along with us!!

A big thanks to our January host, Jennifer Meyer. Today, we introduce our February host, Laurie Schmidlin. Laurie is challenging us to an Inspiration Challenge.
