3-D Project With a Valentine Theme

Welcome friends and visitors! We're glad you came our way today and we want to begin by thanking all of you who participated in last week's "3 Musketeer" challenge. There were some amazing projects created by you talented people!

Are you ready for an all new Our Creative Corner?   We are so excited to roll out our "remake".  You've seen the facelift on our blog and last week we introduced our new design team members.  This week we're excited to share with you that we will now have an overall winner and top three.  These are judged awards.  Each week, our entire design team will look at all the entries and vote on our favorites.  The winners each week will receive a badge to display on their blog.  The categories are:

The Corner's Choice Top Talent Award for the entry we judge as best overall.  The Top Talent will be invited to a one-week guest designer spot with Our Creative Corner.

and the Talented Trio award for that week's three runners up.

Each week after the challenge closes, the team will vote on their favorites. Then every Wednesday we'll make the awards on our blog. So be sure to check back every Wednesday morning to see if YOUR entry has won an award and then proudly display it on your blog's sidebar!

This Week's Challenge
Are you ready for this week's challenge?! This week's challenge is to create a 3-D project with a Valentine theme. The big day is only 16 days away and by taking this challenge with us you'll be a little better prepared! So put on those creative caps and let's see what you come up with!

Also, we're so happy to debut the additions to our design team and hope you will help us welcome them! Yeah! We're so excited to have these talented stampers join our team and look forward to their inspiring creativity!

Three Musketeers Color Challenge

Welcome back to another fun challenge with Our Creative Corner. We had lots of wonderful entries to our challenge last week and want to thank everyone who joined in the challenge.

This week, our host, Wendy Janson, has a fun color challenge for us this week. It's a "Three Musketeers" color challenge which actually means an analogous color scheme challenge but that sounded so boring! So choose any 3 colors that are next to each other on the color wheel. They usually match well and create serene and comfortable designs. When using an Analogous Color Scheme choose one color to dominate, a second to support. The third color is used (along with black, white or gray) as an accent." Use an analogous color scheme for this week's project!

Let's get right to our terrific design team samples this week. We hope you will be inspired to play along!

We hope you'll all be energized with our challenge blog makeover and will be excited to play along with us week after week in 2011.

Our lovely host, Wendy Janson, has another terrific challenge for us this week. But before we jump into this week's challenge, we wanted everyone to see the lovely card made this week by our featured stamper Sarah Bruneski of Sarah's Scrap Shack. We hope you will drop by to check out her other beautiful projects on her blog. And thanks to everyone who visited us and especially those who found time to play along with our Hey Chickadee! challenge last week.

Let’s Play Dress-Up Challenge

We just know you are going to come up with some very creative makes and can't wait to see them! Everyone is welcome to play along.
