OCC Challenge - Brads & Buttons

Hello, and welcome to Our Creative Corner! Before we get to this week's challenge, we want to send out a special thanks to all those who played along in last week's sketch challenge. We've had a blast checking out all the fabulous entries over the past week. You all are amazing!!

For those who are visiting us for the first time, we're so glad you're here! You'll find NEW challenges posted on Saturday mornings, along with samples from the Our Creative Corner designers. We're aiming for lots of variety, so you'll see everything from sketches to color combinations to specific products - whatever the host designer can dream up! Subscribe to receive NEW challenges by email -- that way you won't miss a thing!

Without further ado, this week's challenge, brought to you by our June host, Cindy Haffner, is to use at least
1 button and 1 brad on your project. Easy! And fun! To play along, upload your project to your blog and/or to your SCS gallery. Leave a comment here with a link to your project to we can take a look. If you upload to SCS, please use keyword "OCCC" (for Our Creative Corner Challenge). We can't wait to see what you create!

In the meantime, take a look at what the OCC designers have put together:

Card by Cindy Haffner - Cindy Haffner's Corner

Card by Dawn Easton - TreasureOiler Designz

Card by Denise Marzec - The Paper Landscaper

Card by Amy Sheffer - Pickled Paper Designs

Card by Lynda Benden - Stamp Act

Card by Laurie Schmidlin - Just Give Me Stamps

Card by Jennifer Meyer - Jennifer's Sweet Designs

Thanks so much for stopping by! We hope that we have inspired you to go and create!

All of these cards are gorgeous! What an amazing group of stampers. :-) I made a card a couple days ago that fits the challenge - I'm going to try to play the challenge "for real" in the next day or so, but I felt the need to show you this card since I NEVER use buttons and just happened to - such a coincidence! :-)

Was tempted to use buttons from my DH's shirt but decided to use big brads instead. Then I thought "Yes, I can do the OCCC challenge this way". I'm sure DH is thankful for your challenge this week!
