Happy Saturday and welcome back to Our Creative Corner.
It's Tui here and I am happy to be hosting our challenge again this week. Thank you to everyone who took part in our Black and White with a Splash of Colour challenge last week. There were a lot of fantastic creations and we were simply amazed at the stunning array of cards in the gallery! On Wednesday we will be announcing our Top Talent .... it could be you!
This week the challenge I have for you is "Over the Edge" - create a card, or paper craft item with a design element that is not restricted to the boundaries of the card edges, and continues to flow off the edge of the card, for instance this could be a die cut element, a sentiment banner, a fussy cut image, ribbon etc. Push your design to the edge .... and have fun!
And just to get your inspiration flowing, we have the very talented Karen Squires of Stampin by the Bay joining us this week as our Guest Designer. Be sure to stop by and say "hi", and of course our fabulous design team have some great samples which will surely get your creative juices flowing!
Everyone is welcome to play along. If you upload your card/project to SCS, please use the keyword OCCC.
We ask that you read the challenge requirements carefully and not submit work that does not fit our challenge. Any submissions that do not follow the challenge requirements will be removed.
We do require that your project be a new project and not back-linked to a project made before this challenge started. Please be sure you link back to the OCC blog post in order to be eligible for our Top Talent award. This challenge closes at 11:59 p.m.Eastern Time on March 2nd.
Ladies, I am lovin' all of the wonderful creativity going on here. Great inspiration.
