OCC Stitching Challenge

Hello everyone, and welcome to Our Creative Corner! Thanks to all who have participated in the chipboard challenge last week. We would also like to remind all of you of a mid-week challenge that will continue until Tuesday, September 30th called "Case the OCC Girls". One lucky winner from this week's mid-week challenge participants will be awarded some fun NEW paper from My Mind's Eye called "Be Merry". To be entered into the drawing, we ask you to have your card linked up here in the comments section by Tuesday, September 30th. We'll draw a random name from the entries and announce the winner on Wednesday, October 1st.

Here is a slide show of the cards that have been cased so far...

Our Creative Corner would like to welcome a special guest designer for the week, Michelle Rodgers of Stamper's Dream. Not only has she put together a sample for this week's challenge, but she's also sponsoring the OCC with a prize!! Take a look:

If you haven't been to Stamper's Dream before, consider paying Michelle a visit! She stocks all the latest and greatest papercrafting products, everything from stamps to paper, to ribbon, tools, and all kinds of embellishments -- pretty much everything a stamper dreams of!! The best part about Stamper's Dream is the super fast shipping (US orders arrive within days!) and the excellent customer service. Thanks, Michelle, for the sample and prize this week!!

How would you like a chance to win those Halloween goodies? This week's challenge, brought to us by our September host Amy Sheffer, is to use colored stitching on your project. You can do machine, hand, or faux stitching, but your thread has to be a color - no white allowed. When you've uploaded your project to your blog or gallery, just leave us a comment with a link to your project. To be included in the random prize drawing, have your project linked here by noon on Friday, October 3!

Ready for some inspiration? First up is Michelle Rodgers of Stamper's Dream:

And now for the OCC designers:
