It's all in the Coloring

Welcome & thanks for stopping by Our Creative Corner! Before we start our post for our weekly challenge, we have a special card request for you... Laurie Schmidlin’s twelve year old daughter Ali is very sick. If you would like to send Ali a get well card or a thinking of you card, please email us and we will send you her addy. Our first challenge for November is All About the Coloring. Show us your favorite way to color...copics, watercoloring, gamsol magic, etc....or just pull your favorite image that you enjoy coloring and have some fun. Our special guest designer today is Lori McAree (LMcAree on SCS) and here is her sample card, using the Gamsol Magic Technique.

  5. Love all these beautiful samples! I have tried most of these techniques (played with but haven't taken the copic plunge quite yet!)...my favorite is watercoloring. Love to layer in the color. I made one last Halloween card, uploaded it this morning...can that count?

  6. Love this challenge and your DT samples. Gorgeous work. My favorite way of coloring images is by regular markers and water brush. On this image I combined it with aquarelle color pencils. You can see my card here

  48. I really had fun with this challenge. I just a variety of different brands of alcohol markers to color my image, including Prismacolor, Copic and Mark-It markers.
