Homemade Flowers and Hand Dyed Ribbon Winners and Top 3

Hello all and thank you for visiting!

This is Astrid to announce the winners and Top 3 for the flowers and ribbon challenge. 

Before I go on I want to start by saying a huge big thank you to all of you who took part, what stunning creations from each and everyone of you, I had the hardest time just choosing one winner.....

But needs must, so here we go:

And now to the hard bit, for really you are all winners, but as I can only chose one, - the honour goes to.....

Julie Lavalette

The detail on this creation is just amazing, look at all those wonderful flowers and all
the incredible other details! I just love what Julie did with the ribbon too and I simply
adore the cart with those very cleverly created wheels.

This is the second time Julie has been chosen as our overall winner, so big congrats to
you Julie, and who knows, maybe you will be the very first person to win
our coveted "Three times winner" Gold Badge!

Now to my Top Three in no particular order:

Two Mad Dahlias

I loved this "Shades of White piece, for its beauty and simplicity. The gorgeous grungy
flower holding central place and the subtle stenciling in the background. I adored the
creative use of the matching ribbon too and that wonderful and unusual sentiment!

Bonnie McLain

How stunning is this?  I love the Kudzu basket Bonnie made from scratch. If you don't know
what Kudzu is, you can read all about it on her blog. The flowers look so creative and
fabulous too, and guess what, they are made from baby wipes, so stunning! A really
wonderful creation Bonnie and I was so happy you had such fun making it!

And finally, last but not least 

Jessie Fogan

I love how the beautiful paper clay rose holds central stage on this lovely
card and how the dyed ribbon is woven in between the other very pretty
 flowers. Such a perfect composition with a great colour combination!
