Tando Sponsor Spotlight

Hi everyone!

It is Sponsor Spotlight time here at Our Creative Corner!

Our Sponsor this month is 


For this Spotlight I used some flourishes and frames...





And this is what I made with them...


I started by stamping the image - which is from an Artistic Outpost stamp set - stamping it in green and black Archival ink pretty much laid out the colour scheme for me there and then! The edge of this image was dabbed with Walnut Stain Distress ink.


I painted the frame with Decoart Crackle Paint. When dry I covered it with Raw Umber Antiquing Cream before wiping it away with a damp cloth.


I covered the two flourishes with Green Gold Decoart media paint - I LOVE this colour! I then covered it with Decoart Crackle glaze before covering it with Carbon Black Antiquing cream - this  darkened the green to match the Fern Green Archival ink used in the stamped image


I painted the flowers on the block flourish with Honeydew Fresco paint.


I dabbed some of this paint onto die cut flowers before adding a dab of Platinum Liquid pearls


Because the quote features the word 'song' I added some music sheet serviettes - stuck to the block flourish after it had been painted with Gesso. 


I covered a white bird embellishment with Raw Umber Decoart Antiquing Cream before wiping away with a damp cloth to give it an aged look


 The word 'serenity' was stamped with Fern Green Archival ink and layered onto another sheet of card


And here is my finished Tando Serenity Frame....
