Our Creative Corner ~ Tag, You're It!

Greetings friends of the OCC. We're so glad you dropped by for our last challenge in November. Thank you so much to those of you who played along with us in our 3-D holiday project. There were some pretty awesome creations and we hope you had fun with that challenge!

This week, we are challenging you to make a tag. Tags can be so much fun. Your project this week can be a tag or simply include a tag. This is a great time to make a gorgeous gift tag to give someone in the upcoming holiday season. But it does not need to be a holiday tag or gift. Be creative – we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Our Creative Corner ~ Create a Holiday 3-D Project

Hello OCC friends.  It's Saturday again and we have a wonderful challenge for you this week.  We're so happy you have stopped by to see what's happening here at Our Creative Corner.  Thanks to everyone who participated in last week's color challenge.  There were so many fabulous entries.  Before we tell you about this week's challenge, we want to spotlight our featured artist.  This week it's Annika Ryan.  Here is her wonderful card.  We hope you will stop by her blog to see more of her lovely work.

This week, our host, Linda Coughlin, is challenging us to stretch ourself and create something other than a card.  Most of us will have multiple gift giving occasions in the next few weeks. Create some sort of three dimensional project that you could give as a gift. It could be a hostess gift, a gift for a co-worker or just a pretty little gift for someone special. Be creative! We’re looking forward to seeing what you all come up with!  Everyone is welcome to play along at any time.  If you upload your creation to SCS, please use the keyword OCCC.   Here's what our design team created for your inspiration this week.

Our Creative Corner ~ Color Challenge

Hello friends and welcome back to another challenge with Our Creative Corner. We had a terrific response to our Attitude of Gratitude challenge last week. Thanks to all our participants for sharing their beautiful work and stories about what they are grateful for.

Our Featured Artist this week is Carla Suto. Below is her wonderful creation. Please stop by her SplitCoastStampers gallery to see more of her outstanding work.

We have a color challenge for you this week - a pretty fall palette with a twist. We want you to create something using these warm colors with a touch of cool blue thrown in. We know you will come up with some beautiful creations using these colors.

To jump start your inspiration, our design team has some lovely samples.

Our Creative Corner ~ An Attitude of Gratitude

Hello OCC friends. It's Saturday again and we have a wonderful challenge for you this week. We're so happy you have stopped by to see what's happening here at Our Creative Corner. Thanks so much to our October host, Diane Gilbert, for all the fun challenges she put together for us. And thanks to everyone who participated in last week's inspiration challenge. There were so many fabulous entries.

Before we tell you about this week's challenge, we want to spotlight our featured artist Deborah March from Cards and Things. Here is her wonderful creation. Hope you will stop by her blog to see more of her lovely work.

Linda Coughlin will be our host for November and she is kicking off the month with a challenge about gratitude. We all have so much to be thankful for. This week, Linda is challenging us to do a little reflecting and then create a card/project that depicts something that you are grateful for. It does not need to be a Thanksgiving or a Thank You card.

To get you started, here are the some wonderful inspiration pieces from our design team.
